Optimizing NVMe I/O Response
Finally playing Silksong, but the split-second hitches when entering new areas were a nightmare for my OCD. I tried disabling device power-saving mode in Windows, but loading speeds didn't change and I just wasted 2W of standby power, which felt completely futile. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the depth from 32 to 128. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random reads jumping from 42MB/s to 61MB/s and I/O response at 1.2-3.5ms, while HWInfo recorded stable temperatures at 38-45℃. Now I can switch
