GamePP Frequently Asked Questions

Saved overclock parameters can apply automatically. Methods: 1. After completing overclock parameter settings in GamePP, click the "Save" button; 2. On computer restart, GamePP will automatically load previously saved parameters; 3. Users can enable or disable "Auto-Start on Boot" in software settings (enabling it allows automatic application); 4. If you don't want to apply saved parameters, manually restore defaults in "Overclocking Settings." Before saving, confirm stable system operation to avoid frequent crashes due to abnormal parameters.  

The automatic overclocking mode is relatively safe and suitable for beginners. Explanation: 1. The software automatically adjusts overclock frequencies based on actual hardware performance to avoid excessive overclocking; 2. Built-in temperature protection reduces frequency automatically when hardware temperatures are too high to prevent overload; 3. Frequency adjustments in auto mode are small and do not affect system stability; 4. Users can manually switch back to default mode in settings at any time to stop auto overclocking. It is recommended to still monitor hardware temperature data when using auto mode.  

 Adjustment steps: 1. Open the GamePP "Game Filters" module and enter the "Custom Mode" panel; 2. Find the "Sharpening" option in the custom parameters list and drag the slider to adjust the intensity value; 3. Preview the game screen in real-time during adjustment to observe detail changes; 4. After achieving the ideal effect, click "Apply" to save settings. It is recommended to keep sharpening intensity below 50% to avoid over-sharpening causing distortion.  

 Resolution methods: 1. Open the GamePP "Game Filters" module, disable AI filters, and restore default game visuals; 2. Sequentially disable effects like "Sharpening" and "Color Enhancement" to reduce graphics card load; 3. Lower game resolution or refresh rate to ease rendering pressure; 4. Update graphics card drivers to the latest version and retest after restarting GamePP. It is recommended to run a performance test after optimization and fine-tune filters and game settings based on results to balance visuals with smooth operation.  

 It supports data monitoring for some external graphics card docks. Operation steps: 1. Ensure the external dock is properly connected to the computer and recognized by the system; 2. Open GamePP settings and go to the "Hardware Monitoring" module; 3. If the software displays the dock's graphics card info normally, monitoring is possible; 4. If no data shows, update graphics drivers and try again; 5. Some models may not support full data monitoring. It is recommended to choose highly compatible external docks for normal monitoring functionality.
