Why does Battlefield V freeze during intense combat on RX 9070 XT?

I was losing my mind during intense battles in Battlefield V; every time explosions and smoke overlapped, the screen would freeze momentarily, totally killing the immersion. I tried enabling Extreme Performance mode in the driver panel, but while max FPS rose by 5, the frequency of drops actually increased, proving clock speeds weren't the answer. I then used the GamePP DLSS/FSR Image Sampling Calibrator to lock the sampling rate at 1.2x and set sharpening to 62%. RTSS monitoring showed frame time fluctuations converged to 14-18ms, VRAM usage hit 11.5-13.2GB per GPU-Z, and core temps stayed at 66-72℃ per AIDA64.
