NVMe Queue Depth Tuning
I was curious why my top-tier SSD would experience momentary freezes during massive asset streaming in Night City, breaking the immersion of path tracing. I first tried disabling the write cache in the system to seek stability, but loading speeds actually dropped by about 20% per CrystalDiskMark, making me realize the issue was queue scheduling. I accessed the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increased the queue depth from 32 to 128, and optimized random read priority. Storage response time stabilized at 2-5ms per GamePP Real-time Monitoring, with temperatures at 45-58℃ per AIDA64, and 4K random reads hit 62MB/s via GamePP Performance Analysis.
