Why is my Crucial DDR4 3200MHz causing stutters in Wilds?

While tracking huge monsters, my frame rate would suddenly tank from 75 FPS down to 32 FPS, making every single attack feel completely disjointed. I noticed the default clocks on my Crucial DDR4 3200MHz 16GB were hitting nasty latency spikes between 92-108ns when processing heavy environmental assets. I wasted time trying to bump up the virtual memory in Windows, but that just added a miserable 15 seconds to my load times without fixing a single stutter. I eventually dove into the BIOS, forced the XMP profile on, and manually locked the primary timings to 16-18-18-36. Checking AIDA64, my memory bandwidth jumped from 38.2GB/s to 44.5GB/s, and frame times finally settled from a jittery 22-35ms down to a rock steady 12-16ms. It wasn't a smooth ride though; I hit three consecutive BSODs trying to push the timings too low before I bumped the voltage from 1.2V to 1.35V. Now, temps stay between 42-48℃ and the throughput is consistent. Just keep in mind that some budget boards might struggle with these manual locks.
