Fixing Nioh 2 Loading Stutters
I felt total frustration when challenging high-difficulty levels; loading complex scenes caused my Samsung 990 PRO 4TB to jump violently, creating a jarring stutter. I tried enabling write caching in Windows Disk Management, but it had zero impact on read speeds and actually increased crash risks. Using the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration panel, I increased queue depth from 32 to 128. CrystalDiskMark confirmed 4K random reads rose to 72MB/s, while AIDA64 showed latency at 1.2-4.5ms and GamePP benchmark verified I/O response at 0.8-1.5ms. HWMonitor kept temps at 45-52℃.
