Solving CPU Thermal Throttling
Exploring the eerie corridors of the village, I felt frustrated by the obvious temperature overshoot of my air cooler during sudden loads. I tried setting a negative voltage offset in the BIOS, which lowered the temperature by 5℃ but caused occasional blue screens during scene loading. To fix this, I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to advance the fan start threshold from 60℃ to 52℃ with a stepped speed strategy. The temperature fluctuation range quickly converged to 68-78℃ per AIDA64 monitoring, and CPU load stayed at 60-75% per HWMonitor, ending the stutter.
