Noctua NH-D15S Curve Tuning
It's really annoying that even with a top-tier air cooler, I'm seeing temperature overshoots and frame drops during intense Boss fights. I first tried changing the Windows power plan to 'Balanced', but the frame drops persisted and occurred more frequently. I entered the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel and moved the fan start threshold from 60℃ to 50℃ with a stepped speed strategy. Temperature fluctuations converged to 62-76℃ per HWiNFO64, and noise was balanced by resetting speeds below 50℃ to 800 RPM per GamePP monitoring.
