Stabilizing Racing Frame Rates
During 300km/h sprints, the frame rate would swing wildly between 60 and 40 FPS, which was infuriating during precise cornering. I tried lowering shadow quality in-game; while VRAM pressure dropped, the core temperature stayed high at 85-95℃ per HWMonitor. I used the GamePP Image Sampling Calibrator to switch DLSS from Quality to Balanced and set sharpening to 65. HWMonitor then showed peak temperatures dropped to 76-82℃, and GPU-Z confirmed frequency stabilized above 2100MHz. Task Manager showed GPU load at 70-85%.
