How to Fix CPU Throttling
During long strategy sessions, my game started stuttering badly. I checked and saw my CPU frequency dropping from 5.0GHz to 4.5GHz. The Thermalright PA140 WHITE Peerless Assassin was struggling, with temps hitting 78-82℃. I tried adding more case fans, but the airflow was still poor, which was a waste of time. I used GamePP Hardware Sensor Page to analyze the bottleneck. It showed throttling above 80℃. I optimized the case airflow and adjusted the fan curve. HWiNFO64 showed temps dropping to 72-75℃. CPU-Z confirmed frequency stabilizing at 4.8-5.0GHz.
