Eliminating Read/Write Bottlenecks
As my farm grew, every save or region switch caused maddening momentary stutters that ruined the flow. I tried cleaning temporary files and defragmenting, but doing that on an NVMe drive was a waste of time and didn't change the frame rate. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to push the depth to 256 and locked the system into High Performance mode. Random 4K reads rose to 68-74MB/s per CDM, I/O response hit 6-9ms via RTSS, and temps reached 75℃ per HWInfo.
