How to Reduce Input Latency
During intense 1v1 gunfights, my inputs felt sluggish. The Intel Core i9 13900K was hitting 85-90℃, causing thermal throttling that increased input latency. I tried maxing out the fan speed manually, but the noise was unbearable and it didn't fix the stability issue. I used GamePP Hardware Sensor Page to monitor real-time temps. It showed throttling triggered above 80℃. I adjusted the fan curve to a more aggressive profile. HWiNFO64 showed temps stabilizing at 72-75℃. LatencyMon confirmed input latency dropped below 8ms. The heat is managed, and the responsiveness is back.
