Ending Manhattan Screen Tearing
While swinging through skyscrapers, rapid turns caused obvious horizontal tearing, which totally killed the thrill. I tried forcing V-Sync in the driver panel; the tearing stopped, but input lag jumped by 35ms, making the controls feel sluggish and sticky. I used the GamePP DLSS/FSR Image Sampling Calibrator to set DLSS sharpness to 60 and locked the render resolution to 80%. Now, frame generation time is a smooth 8.1-10.5ms per RTSS, with GPU temps holding at 65-70℃ via AIDA64.
