How to stop Manli Nebula RTX 5060 from crashing in Far Cry 6?
Nothing is worse than a total black screen followed by a driver reset notification right in the middle of a jungle firefight. The Manli Nebula RTX 5060 comes with a pretty aggressive factory overclock, and I noticed the core voltage was swinging wildly between 1.1V and 1.2V during dynamic shadow rendering, which triggered the TDR crash. I tried updating to the latest WHQL drivers, but it actually made things worse, moving the crash interval from once an hour to every ten minutes. I realized the boost clock was just too unstable. I went into the driver panel, knocked the max frequency down by 100MHz, and manually locked the voltage curve at 2200MHz. In a 3DMark stress test, the system finally stopped crashing after 15 minutes and ran for 2 hours straight, with core temps at 62-68℃. I lost about 4 FPS, but the trade-off is worth it because the game actually feels fluid without those instant freezes. VRAM stayed between 75-82℃ at 1600 RPM. It's stable now, but the factory OC is definitely too pushed.
