How to Optimize Memory Timings
Entering the ice city was a pain. Distant building textures took forever to load, and I saw obvious screen tearing. The YMTC Zhitai TiPro9000 2TB Limited Edition was running with conservative timings (40-40-40-76), causing high latency. I tried increasing the page file to 32GB, but my FPS dropped from 78 to 61, which was useless. I switched to GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Wizard. I lowered timings to 36-38-38-72 and raised voltage from 1.25V to 1.30V. AIDA64 showed latency dropping from 102-115ns to 76-82ns. Memory temp held at 46-52℃ and VRM at 58-63℃.
