Eliminate Tokyo Street Stutters
Sprinting through neon streets, my screen would hitch without warning, feeling like a movie dropping frames. I initially tried disk defragmentation, but realized that's a waste of time on NVMe drives and just wore down the NAND flash. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to set write queue depth to 64 and enabled forced cache flush. AIDA64 showed a 12% increase in random writes and response times of 2.5-6.2ms. GamePP benchmark confirmed write latency stabilized at 1.1-2.3ms, while HWMonitor recorded 42-50℃.
