Solving Pacific Drive Stutters
Whenever the environmental lighting changed drastically in anomaly zones, I felt a subtle, annoying stutter. I initially tried limiting the maximum processor state to 99% in Windows; while temperatures dropped, my FPS fell by 15, which made me really anxious. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to shorten the response delay from 3s to 1s and locked the pump speed at 2800 RPM above 80℃. This suppressed peak temperatures to 81-84℃ per AIDA64, stabilized frame time at 9-13ms per RTSS, and kept fans at 1400-1600 RPM per Cinebench R23.
